Concrete sleeper is a medium structure that disperse live load (from train), transmitted to rail, under roadbed by keeping position of rail and gauge through binding rails. There are two methods to produce sleeper, Pre-tensioning method and Post-tensioning method. |

Korea started to use PC sleeper since 1958. In 1958, the Railroad agency was separated, and KNR sleeper developed by the agency has been used. It was produced and used with some annual changes. |
